- Adv. Boonzaier was born in Durban, South Africa and matriculated at the Agriculture High School Kuschke in Polokwane (Pietersburg). He obtained his LLB degree at the University of Pretoria in 2006. He was admitted as an advocate in South Africa and commenced practice at the Pretoria Bar in January 2008 whereafter he joined the Government Attorney's Office in Windhoek in May 2012. He currently practices as an advocate and is a member of the Namibian Bar Association.

- Adv Steyn was born in Keetmanshoop, Namibia, and matriculated at the PK de Villiers. He obtained his B.Com and LLB degrees at the Rand Afrikaans University in 1976 and 1980, respectively. He was admitted as an attorney in South African and practised as such for some 4 years in Randburg. He was thereafter admitted as an advocate in South Africa, and has been practising as such for some 25 years at the Johannesburg Bar in mainly general commercial litigation. He obtained the LLM degree in Banking and Stock Exchange law in 2008 at the University of Johannesburg.
